Common Yeast Infection Symptoms
It has been estimated that over eighty percent of people will experience yeast infection symptoms at least once during their lifetime. Both men and women can get yeast infections but it is more prevalent in women. In this section, we will be covering all the signs and symptoms you can expect, if you think you may have a yeast infection. Please bear in mind, that just because you may have some of these symptoms, doesn’t mean that you should self-diagonose that it’s only a yeast infection. Some of them also apply to sexually transmitted infections (STI’s).
So let’s start by taking a look at the following list:
Are you experiencing a powerful itching feeling that you just can’t ignore? And when you’re able to give it some attention, (e.g. scratching, rubbing) the relief seems almost so good that you can’t stop? If so, then you should know that this is one of the most common yeast infection symptoms.
Some, moreso women in this case, suffer from a burning sensation while urinating, even to the point where you dread having to go to the bathroom. This is another symptom, usually of vaginal candidiasis.
Yeast infection symptoms are noted for a yeasty odor coming from the genitals area. The best way we can describe “yeasty odour” is that it smells a bit like bread or beer. Here is where the distinction lies between a yeast infection and other infections such as herpes. If you get this odour, then it’s fairly certain you’re looking at a yeast infection.
One of the most unpleasant side effects, is that having sex can be painful and this doesn’t do much for your love-life. Some eperience it during sex which takes away the enjoyment, while others feel it afterwards. Either way, this is one yeast infection symptom you can do without.
For women, the common and sometimes embarrassing problem of vaginal irritation is quite common – the last thing you need when you’re at work, or out in public, is that “need to scratch it” feeling. It’s one good reason why you would want to cure your yeast infection as quickly as possible.
What you’ve just read are only the most common yeast infection symptoms. There are some others, but these are rare and more the exceptions to the rule. There is a product on the market called Yeastrol which is popular for yeast infections. It is a homeopathic product which includes twelve ingredients that not only kill the infection but unlike pharmaceutical drugs, fight it “from the inside out”.
These are the basic yeast infections symptoms and if you notice one or several of them, you probably have a yeast infection and should get started on a treatment.
In the following pages, we explore in more detail, some of the signs and symptoms of yeast infections.
